Following extensive consultation by the Minister of Cooperate Governance and Traditional Affairs, Dr. Nkoasazana Dlamini Zuma, the Ministers responsible for COVID-19 and National Command Council, the Minister has gazetted the amendments to the Regulations on the COVID-19 Lockdown.
This serves to retract or change the notice issued to all essential shops earlier this week.
All grocery stores and wholesale produce markets, including spaza shops and informal food traders their trading hours will continue as normal, with written permission from the municipal authorities.
This means all traders must make arrangements with the municipality to acquire permits.
This notice supersede the notice issued before.
