We have come through the year filled with a mixed bag of challenges and significant milestones.
Deep into festive season, we want to take this opportunity to thank you for your contribution in making Emalahleni a destination of choice.
We appreciate your continued immense support throughout the year.
It has been reassuring to know that we can count on our key social partners including business community in changing the lives of the less fortunate within our Municipality.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to all our public representatives, employees and organised labour for their full support underpinned by the commitment to serve and leadership collective.
Achievements this year includes unwavering commitment to public participation and community consultation, social cohesion, environmental management and notable improvement on revenue collection.
Accordingly let's work together to improve on our weaknesses and mitigate on the threads including but not limited to financial viability, good governance, local economic development guided by a responsive investment promotion strategy, and working together to strengthen delivery of services promptly and consistently.
Please take time to rest, reflect and reconnect with your families and enjoy a well-deserved break.
If you will be travelling, please adhere to all the road safety tips and to our historical motto (Arrive Alive).
Do not drink, drive and walk, take note of all the festive season safety tips, such as neighbourhood watch, avoid over indulgence because it is one of the main contributing factors to gender based violence and femicide including contact crime.
Importantly protect your hard earned savings and bonuses from all types of scammers who usually come in a form of promotion, please stay alert and verify any promotion which appears to be too attractive.

Our offices will be closed from 27 December 2022 and will reopen on 02 January 2024.
