The Council of Emalahleni Local Municipality, acting in terms of section 53(1)(c) and (H) of the Disaster Management Act no 57 of 2002, read with Chapter 4 of the Local Government : Municipal System Act no 32 of 2002, hereby gives notice of public engagement. This public engagement notice seeks to inform and encourage the public and relevant stakeholders to participate in the process to obtain public opinions and views with regard to the Draft Disaster Management Plan.
