The eMalahleni Local Municipality invites all interested parties to make representations on the proposed Work in the Public Road Reserve By-Law. The draft was approved by Council on 28 November 2019 with Resolution Nr: A.245/19.
The Municipality intends providing members of the public with an opportunity to make written representations on the Work in the Public Road Reserve By-Law, in order to observe social distancing and reduce the risk of the spread of COVID-19.
A copy of the Work in the Public Road Reserve By-Law will be available for perusal at the Records Office, 2nd Floor, Municipal Building, Corner Mandela and Arras Street, during normal office hours and may also be accessed on the municipal website at www.emalahleni.gov.za.
All comments must be submitted to the Records Offices and to SitholeTE@emalahleni.gov.za and MaukuA@emalahleni.gov.za by no later than 21 (twenty-one) calendar days after the date of the publication.
Any personal information obtained from the public comment procedure will only be used for the purposes for which it was collected in accordance with the requirements of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPI).
