Emalahleni Local Municipality invites all interested parties to make representations on the proposed By-law for Outdoor Advertisement. The draft was approved by Council on 27 March 2024 with Resolution Nr: A.264/23-24.
The Municipality intends providing members of the public with an opportunity to make written representations on the By-law for Outdoor Advertisement as well as engaging with communities to obtain comments.
A copy of the By-law for Outdoor Advertisements will be available for perusal at the Records Office, 2nd Floor, Municipal Building, Corner Mandela and Arras Streets, during normal office hours and may also be accessed on the municipal website at www.emalahleni.gov.za.
All comments must be submitted to the Records Offices and by no later than 21 (twenty-one) working days after the date of the publication.
Any personal information obtained from the public comment procedure will only be used for the purposes for which it was collected in accordance with the requirements of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPI).
Community engagements will be held to obtain comments between the dates 15 to 19 July 2024 (or as will be scheduled from time to time) at the following locations:
