Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 16 (1)(a) (4) of the Local Government Municipal System
Act, No 32 of 2000 (as amended) and Section 22 of the Local Government: Municipal Finance
Management Act, No. 56 of 2003, that Emalahleni Local Municipality hereby gives notice to the
public that the amended IDP and budget for the 2024/2025  nancial year has been adopted by
Council on its sitting held on Thursday 23 May 2024 at 14:00 in terms of Section 160(2)(3)(b) of
the Constitution of South Africa, 1996 (Act 108 of 1996), read with Section 16(2) of the Municipal
Finance Management Act No. 56 of 2003 (as amended);
Amended IDP, Final Budget, Budget Related Policies and adopted tari s and service charges for
the 2024/2025 financial year will be placed on the municipal website: www.emalahleni.gov.za
, and copies of the documents will be made available in the following municipal offices:

1. Rates hall at the Civil Centre, Cnr Mandela Street & Arras Street
2. Ogies Municipal Offices (Rates Halls) – No1, Main Road (Old Primary School)
3. Ga-nala Municipal Offices (Rates Hall) – Quinten Street
