The municipality would like to defuse the recent voice note circulating around about the contamination of our water supply, we wish to address these concerns and rumours made.

We want to assure the public that our water supply undergoes regular testing and monitoring.

Recent reports demonstrate that our water quality meets all regulatory requirements and is safe for consumption.

Regular testing is always conducted in accordance with local and national health standards and according to our knowledge  and validation our findings confirm that there is no contamination present.

We encourage community members to stay informed through our official Facebook channels and credible local media outlets.

We are aware that misinformation can spread quickly.

Distributing false information is a criminal case and any person found to have been involved in this act will face criminal prosecution.

We want to reassure our community that the water supplied to our homes is safe, clean, and regularly tested.
