Mayor V.J. Nhlapho and Ward 17 Councillor Sizwe Mathebula Pay Tribute to the Nkosi Family

The Emalahleni Local Municipality is mourning the profound loss of Mike and Ouma Nkosi, beloved members of the Lynnville community who dedicated their lives to uplifting others. Mayor Cllr V.J. Nhlapho, accompanied by Ward 17 Councillor Sizwe Mathebula, visited the Nkosi family at Zenzele Funeral Home to pay their respects and offer condolences.

During the visit, Mayor Nhlapho emphasized that the passing of Mike and Ouma is not only a devastating loss for their family but also a great loss for the municipality as a whole. The couple’s commitment to community service and their positive impact on those around them will be deeply missed.

Cllr Mathebula echoed the Mayor's sentiments, highlighting the Nkosi family’s legacy of compassion and selflessness. Both leaders called on the community to come together in honoring their remarkable contributions.

Funeral arrangements include a home service at 1180 Dube Street, Lynnville, on Friday, followed by the main service on Saturday at Pretoria Road Memorial Park. The Emalahleni Local Municipality extends its heartfelt condolences to the Nkosi family and the entire Lynnville community during this time of mourning.

The municipality has adopted the communication strategy, which entails the channels and tools of communicating to the stakeholders.
