Emalahleni Local Municipality hereby in terms of Section 116(3) of the Local Government Municipal Finance Management Act, No. 56 of 2003 and Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, No.5 of 2000 and Regulations, gives notice for submission of comments on intention to extent a contract of Advancities Drive 4 Change.
The municipality would like to inform the public about the intentions to extent the contract of Advancities Drive 4 Change that was appointed in terms of the Bid: ELM 10/2020 to establish the Emalahleni Economic Growth and Development Agency project.
Objectives of the project:
- To stimulate the local economy through new investments;
- To attract local and foreign investments;
- To promote Small and Medium Micro Enterprises within eMalahleni;
- To enhance revenue generation; and
- To create job and employment opportunities
Therefore, interested parties are hereby invited to submit comments on the extension of a contract for the establishment of the Emalahleni Economic Growth and Development Agency project. The closing for submission of comments is Friday, 13 September 2024.
