This notice serves to caution the Public against the unlawful occupation of public Land (Land Invasion); the illegal sale of public land; and the illegal sale of government-subsidized houses (RDP) houses. The Municipality deems such acts to be a criminal offense in terms of the Municipal Management and Control of Informal Settlements and Land Invasion By-Law and therefore maintains zero tolerance towards any such illegal activities.
The Public/Community is urged to report any suspicious activities on the Municipal Hotline, 0800 204 228, and Nkangala District Municipality Anti-Fraud and Corruption line, 0800 014 816.
