The eMalahleni Local Municipality invites all interested parties to make representations on the proposed Street Trading By-Law. The draft was approved by Council on 26th January 2023 with Resolution Nr: A.140/22-23.
The Municipality intends providing members of the public with an opportunity to make written representations on the Street Trading By-Law as well as engaging with communities to obtain comments.
A copy of the Street Trading By-Law will be available for perusal at the Records Office, 2nd Floor, Municipal Building, Corner Mandela and Arras Streets, during normal office hours and may also be accessed on the Municipal website at www.emalahleni.gov.za.
All comments must be submitted to the Records Offices and mothadg@emalahleni.gov.za by no later than 21 (twenty-one) calendar days after the date of the publication.
Any personal information obtained from the public comment procedure will only be used for the purposes for which it was collected in accordance with the requirements of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPI).
